Yehia, Fred

Fred Yehia, a disbarred lawyer in Vancouver, was found in contempt of court for failing to pay funds in accordance with a November 4, 2006 order made in earlier contempt proceedings. He has since paid those funds. Madam Justice Marion Allan of the Supreme Court of BC has ordered him to pay a fine of $1,450 as well as special costs.

Fred Yehia, of Vancouver, a disbarred lawyer, consented to a B.C. Supreme Court order that he be prohibited from representing himself as a lawyer and further from appearing as counsel or advocate, drawing wills, estate documents, corporate documents or other legal documents, negotiating in any way for the settlement of a claim, giving legal advice, offering any of these services or representing himself as qualified to do so: March 22, 2001.
