Reminder: Changes to Member Portal log-in process on March 19

Starting March 19, the Law Society will require multi-factor authentication (MFA) to log in to the Member Portal. To ensure a smooth experience, you are encouraged to verify that your registered email address is current and accessible, as a verification code will be sent to your email when you log in.

To update your email address, log in to the Member Portal before March 19 and navigate to My Profile > Email Settings.

How MFA works:

After entering your username and password, you will be required to either:

  • Enter a verification code sent to your registered email, or
  • Answer two security questions that you have previously set up

To set up your security questions, log in to the Member Portal and go to:

My Settings > My Profile > Change Security Questions for Member Portal.
