Call for papers on charity and law in Canada

The Law Commission of Canada (LCC) is calling for papers for their Charity and Law Project that aims to explore themes related to how law facilitates charity as a practice and supports their functions.

The LCC is seeking commitments to contribute papers on: charity within Canada’s legal traditions; the significance and scope of charities in Canada; and Canada’s legal framework for charity and charities.

Authors will be invited to become Associates of the LCC and will receive $10,000. Interested individuals are invited to propose their paper topics and submit the required documents by September 16, 2024 to Projects-Projets@lcc-cdc.gc.ca
