Unauthorized Practitioner

McCluskey, Scott

On April 27, 2022, Justice Edelmann pronounced that Scott McCluskey be prohibited from holding himself out to be a lawyer and operating a misleading website that purports to be for a law firm. McCluskey was found to have misrepresented himself as a lawyer in emails and documents he wrote to try to intimidate others. He also threatened his Port McNeill neighbours with defamation lawsuits and owners of local businesses with human rights complaints.
